BEFORE YOU REGISTER, PLEASE CONSIDER
Registration is limited to the first 2,200 riders, so please register early to ensure a spot! This event has sold out many times in the past.
Ages 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Tandems are allowed on the course, but each rider on the tandem bicycle must register separately.
All riders will receive a bike number and wristband. You must wear your event wristband at all times. Your wristband will give you access inside the Colorado National Monument, allow for refreshments at the aid stations as well as act as your ticket for lunch and prize drawings at the post-ride party.
Your bike number should be attached to the top tube of your bike. Colorado State Patrol has the authority to remove anyone without a bike number from the event and you could be subject to legal charges.
BIKE LIGHTS REQUIRED
The Colorado National Monument requires that all cyclists (regardless of whether they are in a organized event or riding on their own) to have a white light that is visible from a distance of at least 500 feet to the front and a red light that is visible from at least 200 feet to the back. The Monument has 3 tunnels, bored through solid rock, that do not have lights, thus the reason for this safety requirement. All cyclists and support vehicles are required to USE the lights in the three tunnels (you may turn them off once you’ve exited).
Our Cateye light set for $20, when you register!
Partnering bike shops in the Grand Valley – Over the Edge Sports, Ruby Canyon Cycles and Brown Cycles will have a limited number of lights available as well.
Registration will close on September 20 at 12 midnight. for the regular tour. We highly suggest that you register early as the event always sells out!
