The Copper Triangle exemplifies road cycling in the Rockies.  Join us for the 15th anniversary sportive on Saturday, August 7, 2021.


In addition to a great experience cycling this high alpine course, each participant will receive:

• Number plate / Bib Number
• 2021 Copper Triangle jersey
• Amply stocked aid stations with healthy and energizing refreshments
• Post-ride “Alpine Celebration” to include lunch, beer garden, expo and entertainment
• A chance to win valuable prizes

The first 2,000 registered riders will be guaranteed their size.  Register early!

If your jersey not fit, subject to availability, you may exchange it at our merchandise booth during the event.  Please note that due to limited inventory we can not guarantee that all sizes will be available.


ALL registrations include a donation to The Davis Phinney Foundation and youth under the age of 18 ride FREE (for a limited time). The first 2,000 registered will be guaranteed their jersey size.  Register early!

If your 2020 registration was deferred until 2021 due to the cancellation of this event, you will need to use the deferral code you were sent and complete a 2021 registration to be entered into the event.  Your code was emailed out at the beginning of the year, If you can’t find your code, please reach out to for a copy.

We will accept walk on registration August 6th and 7th.  See below for times and locations.


We will implement a number of “COVID Safeguard Measures” to help ensure your health and safety.  A number of these measures being considered may be viewed here.  This spring we will assess the current situation with COVID-19 and announce plans specific to the event.   If you have any questions please reach out to us.  


Packet Pick-Up:
Choose to have your packet and jersey mailed for an $18 charge OR pick up your packet at Copper Mountain either Friday, August 6 from 4 – 8 p.m. or Saturday, August 7 from 5:30 – 8 a.m.

Registration will be held at the Big Horn Conference Room in the Copper Conference Center (184 Copper Cir. Frisco, CO 80443) at the following times:

Friday,August 6 :   4 – 8 p.m.
Saturday, August 7 :   5:30 – 8 a.m.

Registration is limited to the first 3,000 riders, so register early to guarantee a spot!

Riders under the age of 18 are free and must be accompanied by an adult.

Tandems are allowed on the course, but each rider on the tandem bicycle must register separately.

All riders will receive a bike number and wristband. You must wear your event wristband at all times. Your wristband will give you access to the course and refreshments at the aid stations as well as act as your ticket for lunch and prize drawings at the post-ride party.

Your bike number should be attached to your handlebars. Colorado State Patrol has the authority to remove anyone without a bike number from the course and you’d be subject to legal charges.


Deadline for any changes to your registration is June 21 at noon MST (i.e. jersey size, packet mailing, etc.). It’s important we capture all your current information in order to best serve you! If you desire additional meal tickets, they will be sold at the event.
